Luke Strasser, Army Chaplain

Luke Strasser, Associate Pastor, Army Chaplain Ministries

I love teaching about Christianity, discipling God’s people and sharing the Gospel with those who don’t know Him yet. I grew up in Clio, Michigan and have always been a member of the Nazarene church.

My ministry takes place in the military. I am a Chaplain Candidate in the United States Army Reserves. Ministering to soldiers is a unique and fruitful experience and I am thankful to God for His guidance in this military journey. In addition to military ministry, I also have a heart for local church ministry. I love teaching people about God and how the Gospel can change their lives.

I graduated from Olivet Nazarene University (B.A in Religious Studies) in 2016 and commissioned as an officer in the Army through their ROTC program on the same day. I am, currently completing my seminary education at Asbury Theological Seminary (MDiv and MATS).

My interests include spending time with friends, watching movies, running, going to the beach, reading and visiting local coffee shops. I love learning new things. Some of my favorite topics are philosophy, science and apologetics. I also enjoy meeting new people and being in Christian fellowship.
