Clarence Moorhouse
Associate Pastor & Facilities Manager

I was born in Columbiaville, Michigan and have lived in Michigan all my life, except for the 4 years we spent in Illinois at Olivet where I studied for the ministry.

I was able to take an educational leave from G.M. four years in a row and with 3 children still at home and 1 at Olivet we started our journey at 39 years of age.  After graduation we accepted the church at Otter Lake, and pastored there almost seven years until we were called to Marine City where we spent seven years and then back to Flint Westgate for a while.  After Westgate we went to work for the District working on church buildings and parsonages for several years.  I accepted a position as Pastor of Visitation at Richfield, which soon expanded to include Building and Grounds.

I have been blessed to have met some of God's wonderful saints along the way and am blessed to be among some of God's finest here at Richfield.  I am still amazed that God chose to use someone like me to take his Gospel first to those who need it, and now many times to those who can't get to church to hear it (via) the C.D. Ministry.

I am especially blessed to have had a wife (for almost 57 years now) who never questioned, but was always in agreement with each move.  God is good all the time and all the time God is good.

Yours in His service,
Rev. Clarence Moorhouse
