Serving Christ Serving Others Summer Mission Trip to Copperhill, TN

Our love for Jesus drives us to serve others! This summer join our team of youth and adults as we trek to Copperhill, TN for an opportunity to serve Christ by serving others! Any student who has completed 7th-12th grades is welcome to participate.

Dates: 

Saturday, July 7th - Friday, July 13th.  

Cost:

$400.00 per person. Sunday, March 4th, a deposit of $79 per person will be due. Deposits are refundable until April 1st.  All monies are due one month from trip on June 8th.

What does the $400 include?

Transportation, lodging, meals, and activities for our free day.  Any extra cash you may need would be for extra food other than provided meals and any souvenirs.  Our free day activity package is included in the cost above.  We are given a choice of whitewater rafting, horseback riding, low or high ropes courses, paintball, or mountain biking.  Money will be distributed to participants to purchase their food on the trip there and back. 

When are we leaving/returning?

We will leave  Saturday, July 7th in the morning, drive 9 hours to Knoxville and stay the night.  Sunday morning we will get up, go to worship, and then finish the remaining 2-3 hours of the trip. We will return late Friday, July 13th.

Fundraisers:

Mystery Dinner Theater Auction items can be turned in now through the Mystery Dinner Theater on Saturday, March 17th.  The better items we donate, the more funds we will raise for our trip!  At our next meeting we will discuss our direction for other fundraisers, which will need approval by the church board before they can be done.

Parent Meetings:

Held upstairs in the Youth Wing in the Junior High Sunday School class or Cafe.

March 18th at 12:00 pm, April 29th at 12:00 pm, May 20th at 12pm, June 10th at 12pm
